Julia Hedger

Biography

Physician assistant Julia Hedger, PA-C (Heh-jer), is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve healthier lives. She focuses on treating the whole person and believes in proactive management to improve long-term health outcomes. Julia works closely with patients to help them take meaningful steps toward better health.

Julia treats a wide range of conditions and has clinical interests in diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma and COPD, congestive heart failure, thyroid disorders, anxiety and depression, as well as preventive and wellness medicine. She enjoys seeing both new and familiar faces in the clinic and values collaborating with her colleagues to ensure the best possible care for her patients.

Julia completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She later received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from California Baptist University. Julia is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

As a member of the community she serves, Julia feels honored to care for her neighbors and contribute to a healthier hometown.

When she is not in the clinic, Julia enjoys spending time in her garden with her husband, her dog, and her chickens.
