Biography
Dr. Hugh Cripps is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care rooted in listening, collaboration, and respect. He believes the patient always comes first and that a thorough medical history is the cornerstone of effective care. By actively involving patients in shared decision-making, Dr. Cripps works to ensure each treatment plan reflects both clinical best practices and the patient’s individual goals and preferences.
Dr. Cripps earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and brings decades of experience caring for patients across the lifespan, with a particular focus on comprehensive family medicine and geriatric care.
What Dr. Cripps finds most rewarding about medicine is spending time with his patients and working together to solve complex health concerns. He values the trust, cooperation, and relationships built over time, and measures success by the positive impact he has on his patients’ lives.
